Maintenance Technician – Exclusive Toyota Partnership

Location: Deeside, North Wales
Shift Pattern: Panama (12‑hour shifts – 7 days & 7 nights per month)
Salary: £56,600 Basic (inclusive of shift allowance) + Annual Bonus
Pension: Up to 12 % employer contribution

Your day‑to‑day impact

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll keep a highly automated production line running at peak efficiency:

  • Diagnose, repair and optimise PLC‑controlled CNC machines, robotics and automated conveyor systems.
  • Execute planned preventive maintenance and respond swiftly to breakdowns, minimising downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous‑improvement projects.
  • Record accurate maintenance data and contribute to root‑cause analysis and future‑proofing initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • Time‑served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or above) in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Proven experience maintaining high‑speed, automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Confident fault‑finding on PLC‑controlled systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron or similar).
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the flexibility to thrive on a Panama shift rota.
