Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£51,500 + Overtime Available (Up to 1.5x) + Other Benefits

Shifts – 4 on 4 off

Location – Wakefield

The Company

Our client is giving you the chance, as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, to work for a company that supplies into the retail sector. As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will have to work on a state-of-the-art site that is going to be seeing big investment into the company.

The Role

As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting both planned maintenance while also responding to breakdowns
  • Fault finding on electrical components within a control panel and reading electrical schematics
  • Carrying out mechanical work on components including chains, sprockets, motors, and rollers

Requirements

As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • You to have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in either mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Comfortable fault finding electrically and swapping out different mechanical components
  • Previous background in a manufacturing environment
