Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Shawell

Salary: £50,000 + 12% shift allowance

Hours & Shift Pattern

Average 47.5 hours per week on rotating shifts:

  • Week 1: Mon‑Thu 05:50‑18:00
  • Week 2: Mon‑Thu 17:50‑06:00
  • Week 3: Wed‑Fri 06:00‑18:00 + Sat 06:00‑15:00
Role Summary

As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure production lines run efficiently, safely, and consistently. You will minimise downtime, support production teams, and deliver effective planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Support CI projects and plant improvement activities
  • Assist with new equipment installation and commissioning
  • Maintain safety compliance, SSWs, PTWs, and engineering standards
  • Work closely with Production and the Maintenance Team Leader
  • Record work using CMMS systems (SAP/Agility/Shires)
  • Support training of technical team members
Skills & Experience Required
  • Time-served or formally qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
  • Strong multi‑skilled background (mechanical/electrical)
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering roles
  • Confident fault finder with proactive mindset
  • CMMS experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
