A prominent healthcare institution is seeking a Senior MRI Radiographer to join their team. This role involves undertaking imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care in a busy department. Candidates must be reliable, focus on teamwork, and have competency in MRI. The position requires participation in a 7-day service with on-call responsibilities. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our busy department, offering a wide range of specialist scanning, rotating between the NUH sites.
You will receive a structured training programme on 1.5T Siemens Aera, 1.5T Siemens Sola, 1.5T Philips Ingenia, 3T Philips Elition and a 3T GE Discovery. There are 7 scanners across the NUH sites, plus 1 further scanner at Loughborough University. You will be supported by our current team with any training requirements, and there will be a regular review of your progress to ensure your competencies are achieved.
We are a 7 day service, with an on-call provision at QMC, in which you will be expected to participate.

You will be supported to work safely and competently on MRI equipment and in caring for patients, their carers and other visitors. You are responsible for safety, raising concerns when necessary, ensuring that you are working safely and within your level of ability and responsibility.
