Job description

Movement Specialist/ Fitness Coach/ Personal Trainer (Contractor – minimum 2 full days or 4 half per month)

We are looking for a movement and exercise specialist who is based in Central Scotland (commutable to Glasgow) to support the physical activity element of our weight management service. This is not a coaching programme or 1-to-1 training offer. The focus is on expert input, practical guidance for patients using GLP-1s, and a visible role across our patient-facing content.

The specialist will help shape simple, achievable movement guidance that supports medication-led weight loss, appear in short-form video and written content, and review activity-related materials to ensure they are safe, realistic and evidence informed.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a named movement expert, including a professional profile and use of image in patient-facing channels.
• Contribute to short-form video content, including clips used for paid ads on platforms such as Meta and YouTube, as well as organic content.
• Participate in expert Q&A, exercise explainers and other materials used across marketing, CRM and social.
• Provide clear, practical movement guidance suitable for people on GLP-1 treatment, focusing on routine, strength, mobility and long-term habit formation.
• Review and advise on articles, emails and scripts to ensure accuracy and safe practice.
• Offer limited expert input to help test and refine activity recommendations within the broader patient journey.

Requirements

• Background in exercise science, physiotherapy, personal training, strength and conditioning or a related movement field.
• Experience supporting individuals with weight management or lifestyle change.
• Comfortable appearing in short video content, including content repurposed for paid advertising.
• Willing to build and maintain a public-facing expert profile via social and other patient-facing channels.
• Able to translate technical movement principles into simple, practical guidance.
• Must have worked with clients who have had GLP1 treatment.

Location: Must be able to come to the Glasgow Office for meeting and video days.

Pay: £300 - £350 per Day
