Job description

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for a Mould Setter Operator to join one of our prestigious clients in SN3 area.

3 on 3 off shifts 22:00-10:00 (NIGHT SHIFT)

Salary: £34700 plus shift allowance 46% (£15962)

Main purpose of this role is working as a member of the production team reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Manager, responsible for set-up and efficient running of moulds, moulding machines and ancillary equipment to meet the quality standards and production targets, as well as supporting the introduction of new or modified processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform safe handling and loading / unloading of mould tools onto the moulding machines, and set-up of ancillary equipment associated with running the moulds.
  • Support process trials and validation on new or modified mould processes.
  • Fully document trials, validations, process conditions when involved and work in accordance with internal procedures and GMP.
  • To carry out basic maintenance duties on moulds, moulding machines and ancillary equipment as specified within the Planned Maintenance guidelines.
  • Undertake process projects as requested by Shift Manager.
