A leading tour company in the UK is seeking a Motorcoach Technician to ensure the safety and maintenance of its fleet. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical systems, and handle road calls. Ideal candidates have experience with heavy-duty vehicles and strong mechanical and electrical skills. Position: Motorcoach Technician
Location: In-Person (Delaware Express Tours)
Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week

Our fleet includes top-tier motorcoaches—MCI, Van Hool, and Setra—and we take great pride in maintaining them to the highest standards. Join our team to play a critical role in keeping our coaches in top condition, ensuring our guests always travel smoothly and safely.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our motorcoach fleet (MCI, Van Hool, Setra)
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manual expertise
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with major systems: engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, suspension
Conduct safety inspections and ensure each vehicle meets operational standards
Respond to road calls or breakdowns when needed, providing field service and emergency repairs
Maintain accurate documentation: service logs, repair orders, parts used, labor hours
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to order and manage parts inventory
Uphold a clean, safe, and organized shop environment, following all safety protocols
Occasionally assist with road testing and quality control after repairs
You have experience repairing heavy‑duy trucks or buses (motorcoach experience is a plus, but not required)
You have strong mechanical and electrical skills — you’re comfortable working on complex systems
You pay close attention to detail and have a strong commitment to safety and quality
You can work independently yet are a supportive team member

Motorcoach mechanics are responsible for:
Repairing or replacing faulty bus components (engines, brakes, transmission, HVAC, electrical)
Keeping detailed maintenance records and documentation
Communicating with drivers and team members about vehicle status and maintenance needs
Performing road tests to ensure repaired vehicles are safe and compliant
