The role

As a Motor Transport Driver, you’ll be at the heart of our mission‑critical logistics operations, supporting the delivery and collection of equipment and personnel across various locations. This is a dynamic and hands‑on role where your driving skills will directly contribute to the success of military training exercises and operational readiness. You’ll be part of a team that values precision, safety, and reliability, making a real difference to our defence capabilities and your own career development.

Day-to-day you’ll be:
  • Driving Land Rovers and trailers for deliveries, collections, and radio exercises
  • Supporting vehicle preparation including cleaning, washing, and refuelling
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks as specified in Level 1 publications
  • Assisting customers while equipment is on charge
  • Performing general driving duties and washdown operations

This is a zero‑hour role, with hours offered on an as‑needed basis depending on operational requirements.

Essential experience of the Motor Transport Driver
  • Military MT Driving experience would be an advantage, but training will be given.
  • Over 23 years old due to insurance policies
Qualifications for the Motor Transport Driver
  • Full UK Driving licence for manual vehicles
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
