Job summary

A family-run service centre in Reading is looking for an experienced MOT Technician. The role involves servicing and repairing vehicles, conducting MOT tests, and performing diagnostic testing. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and possess a valid UK driving licence. The position offers a basic salary of £35,000 - £44,000 with potential earnings up to £60,000 OTE, as well as a family-oriented work environment.

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a MOT Technician within a family-run Service Centre located in Reading. Our Automotive Client has a need for a MOT Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits

• £35,000 - £44,000 Basic Salary + Up To £12,000 Bonus + Overtime = Up To £60,000 OTE
• Monday To Friday Hours + Saturday Rota Every Other (Paid At £22 Per Hour x 1.5 Overtime)
• Family Run Independent Service Centre Environment
• Both Technician Testers / Technicians Without MOT / MOT Only Testers Considered

Duties of the MOT Technician

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of cars
• MOT testing
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to a high standard

Requirements

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A current and valid UK driving licence
• Dedicated and committed approach
