Overview

We are recruiting for a Modular Planning Analyst to join the Space, Range and Display Team within the Supply chain function. They are pivotal to deploying the correct ranging decision by store. Informed by insights they will create promotional plans that are suitable and meet the needs of all our customers whilst supporting the business strategies. You will be responsible for managing your own workload, managing stakeholder communication and expectations throughout the critical path and ensuring that all stages of the activity are delivered to a high standard with a level of detail that ensures smooth delivery in each stage of the critical path. You will work closely with our Commercial and Range Analyst Team to build these plans ensuring their alignment to the Supply Chain strategy, landing the Merchandising briefs right first time. We work in a fast-paced environment, where we always look to do things better with the ambition to simplify processes. You\'ll work collaboratively with Commercial, Retail, Space, Range and Property and must have strong communication skills with the ability to influence and cascade.

Responsibilities
  • Implement promotional and event activity, informed by Business and trading strategies, data analysis and customer insight across all formats
  • Manage and execute activity in line with the critical path, fulfilling all key milestones & escalate risks in a timely manner
  • Embrace Future systems & use new data and tool enhancement
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business (and stores) to ensure we land all activity right first time, attending ATC calls
  • Understand the competition, best in class execution and developing innovative ideas
  • Ensure we execute with excellence through accurate admin and continual checks, ensuring you respond to issues in a timely manner hitting 7 day Service now SLA
  • Review all activity landed, taking into account the customer, colleague and sales performance to capture celebrations and learnings feeding into the PIRs
  • You will be able to manage your own workload, being able to prioritise projects and ad-hoc requests where necessary, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • You will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the detail shared with the wider team is of the highest standard.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be confident presenting your work.
  • Have data analytics skills to identify trends.
  • You must have the ability to adapt to significant change and challenges, finding creative ways to overcome barriers.
  • Computer literate - with good experience of MS Excel and Powerpoint

Work Arrangements

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
