Job summary

A leading environmental services company is seeking a Mobile Technician to maintain and repair industrial plants across Teesside. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial boilers and will receive training. The position includes a salary up to £45,000, 25 days annual leave, and various employee benefits.   • Conduct electrical fault finding and repair on industrial boilers.

Hours: 43 hours per week, 1 in 4 standby rota

Location: Mobile across Teesside

What you'll be doing
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and repair work on multi-utility plant sites including multi-fuel boilers, burner systems, steam systems, MTHW/LTHW heating systems, and associated equipment
  • Conduct electrical fault finding, diagnosis, and repair on industrial boilers, combustion equipment, control systems, pumps, motors, and electrical infrastructure
  • Service and maintain gas and oil combustion systems, steam systems, and oil systems across various industrial plants
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and minor installation works on a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Demonstrate flexibility to multi-skill across different technical areas and participate in training programs to develop industry-specific expertise
What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience, however training will be provided for a qualified tradesperson with the aptitude to retrain in this industry.

  • Time served HNC or ONC electrical or mechanical engineering qualification
  • Experience working with industrial boilers and/or combustion equipment
  • 18th edition
  • COSHH awareness and IOSH core
  • Gas safe qualification would be desirable
  • BOAS qualification would be desirable
