Job Title: Mobile HVAC Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Mobile HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to cover sites in Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield, and Newcastle.

Role Summary
  • Identify and manage risks related to equipment on site, including critical spares, performance improvements, and environment control via BMS.
  • Maintain a comfortable environment using new equipment and technologies, liaising with clients on reactive and PPM tasks.
  • Fault find on HVAC plant and equipment, especially VRV air conditioning systems, with F-Gas handling qualifications.
  • Support Health and Safety initiatives within the team.
  • Act as Energy Champion and Safety Champion for the site.
  • Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.
  • Write and review Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Complete documentation accurately using mobile devices and CAFM systems.
  • Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools.
  • Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager regarding building services issues.
  • Deputise for the site supervisor during leave or sickness when required.
  • Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.
  • Supervise and manage subcontractors.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies outside normal hours.
Experience Required
  • Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Proven HVAC maintenance experience
  • Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standards
  • Multiskilled abilities
  • Fault finding skills
  • Contractor supervision capabilities
  • Risk assessments and method statement writing
  • Understanding of permits and safe systems of work
  • F-Gas refrigerant handling certification
Desirable Skills
  • Working at Height qualification
