Responsibilities

This role involves travel across multiple sites in the North of Scotland, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, minor installations, and general facilities work.

You will be part of a mobile team providing high-quality engineering services, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, safety protocols, and contractual service standards. Flexibility is key, as the role includes participating in the call-out rota and occasional overtime.

As a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer you'll:

• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Carry out electrical testing and maintenance, including emergency lighting, RCD testing, and microwave testing.
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems (ventilation, AHUs, AC units, and more).
• Install, repair, or replace equipment such as light fittings and plant machinery.
• Support minor facilities tasks outside your core trade, such as basic plumbing, joinery, and smoke vent testing.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).

What we're looking for:

• 18th Edition Electrical Certificate (including 2nd amendment).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical systems such as ventilation and AHUs.
• Experience with Hard Services PPM and reactive works.
• Ability to work at height and sound understanding of Health & Safety.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, tablets, PDAs).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full, clean driving licence.
