Job summary

A renowned services contractor in Greater Manchester is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Assistant to join their facilities team. The position requires performing maintenance tasks at various police stations, ensuring efficient response to breakdowns, and supporting team operations. Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience, good customer skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Qualifications

  • Experience in a maintenance role and of PPM completion is desirable.
  • Good customer care and people skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team or unsupervised.
  • Basic fabric handyperson skills required.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures essential.
  • Must have a full valid UK driving licence.
  • Requirement to achieve and retain relevant GMP vetting clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake allocated jobs as directed by Maintenance Manager.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and complete paperwork accurately.
  • Carry out routine maintenance, repair, and cleaning across the estate.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and chemicals are available at all sites.
  • Attend training programs as necessary.
