Overview

NG Bailey Facilities Services are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team, providing support across two key contracts based in Watford (WD17) and Cambridge (CB3). This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced engineer with a background in electrical or mechanical maintenance to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance in commercial environments. You will be responsible for maintaining building services systems, completing compliance documentation, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service across both sites. A full UK Driving Licence is essential, and a company van will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on M&E building services systems.
  • Carry out small works, emergency lighting tests, HVAC PPM, lighting upgrades, and fault diagnosis.
  • Maintain compliance records and update site documentation for audits.
  • Ensure all works are carried out to H&S standards, including supervising subcontractors where required.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline (or equivalent City & Guilds).
  • Strong experience in fault finding, PPM, and remedial works within building services.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Shift and Benefits

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (On Call Rota 1 in 6) Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Salary: £42,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card + Paid Travel Time + On Call Allowance + Flexible Benefits
