A leading postal service company is seeking a Mobile Electrical and Maintenance Engineer for the North East of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance tasks and must hold an 18th Edition Electrical certification. Salary- £35,220.03 to £39,148 per annum (dependent upon skills and experience), plus standby allowance c£290 per week, when on rota, and appropriate overtime rate when attending the call.
22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service plus bank holidays.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) - typical attendance will be 08:00 until 16:00 Monday to Friday however, flexibility is essential.
You will be required to join an out of hours callout rota typically a 1 in 6 rota.
In this role, you will be expected to have excellent technical knowledge of HVAC, lighting systems, mechanical, power and control wiring. You will be expected to work on multiple FM systems with the majority of the work being FM tasks within their core buildings and within the larger area. Air Conditioning or gas qualifications would be advantageous.
You will need a flexible approach to work and be willing to travel to different sites within a specified geographical area. A vehicle will be provided for required travel. A requirement to have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to discuss work and progress with customers and managers.
