Please note: Age restriction applies for this position, so candidates must be over 18 and have a valid ID. The role is typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Working hours are usually 6am-2pm, but may change to suit business needs. The pay rate is £12.21 per hour, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Job Introduction

Join Sodexo as a Mobile Cleaner, supporting multiple Approved Premises (APs) across the Yorkshire and Middlesbrough region. In this vital role, you will travel between different sites, delivering high-quality cleaning services to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments.

You will be responsible for general cleaning duties across various locations, working closely with site staff and your wider team. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of residents and staff at each site. Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community.

What You’ll Do
  1. Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across various sites.
  2. Travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.
  3. Manage your own schedule and ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other departments.
  5. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, including offices, kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces.
  6. Restock essential supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and sanitizer.
  7. Proactively follow health and safety procedures at all times.
What You Bring
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable, with knowledge of cleaning products and their uses.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
