Mobile Bodyshop Manager

Salary: £60,000 per annum + performance bonus % for the sites you cover

50 hours per week

Willingness to travel to all our Southern region sites including: Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Eastbourne, Shoreham, Poole, Bournemouth, and Basingstoke

We are looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to join our Southern Region Team. This exciting role involves supporting our Regional Manager by stepping in at various sites that require a Bodyshop Manager due to absences. Your primary responsibility will be managing these sites effectively and ensuring smooth production, whilst maintaining Halo’s quality, customer service and speed of repairs. You will work efficiently in a modern fast-paced clean environment, collaborating as a team player and consistently meeting tight deadlines.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Travel to all Halo sites and working away from home on a regular basis
  • Open the workshop and turn on compressor and dust extraction
  • Greet the workshop team and delegate first job
  • Email daily on-site list ready for Regional Manager
  • Give the CSA list of cars due out of the workshop for the day
  • Give estimated completion dates (ECD) to CSA
  • Check Workshop
  • Check parts ordered for the jobs are correct and undamaged
  • Hand over invoices to be scanned into correct jobs on Halo live job packs
  • Ensure parts & wet and dry stock is ordered quickly, whilst receiving the best possible prices
  • Ensure parts returns are handled swiftly with credit notes being chased immediately
  • Maintain efficient communications within the business, to maintain morale
  • Ensure safety equipment is being adequately used to ensure 100% compliance
  • Ensure all images are taken at each stage of repair whilst carrying out the QC process
  • Support the development of the business and its staff

What are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a Bodyshop Manager
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Keen to support others and be a cooperative team player at all times
  • Handle all vehicles and parts with due care and attention
  • Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given to a high standard
