Job description

Randstad is looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a client’s team in Cambridge on a permanent, full‑time basis. This role operates Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Your New Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, your responsibilities include:

• Performing PPM servicing, fault‑finding, and reactive breakdown repairs on air conditioning building services systems and infrastructure.
• Rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems.
• Carrying out mechanical maintenance duties on belts, motors, and valves.
• Completing minor installation work.
• Engaging with stakeholders and providing fault diagnostics as needed.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven building maintenance experience.
• A recognised NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning.
• F‑GAS 2079 CAT1 certification.
• The ability to work at height, including on roofs, up steps and ladders, and in MEWPs.
• Proficiency in working with and controlling CAFM systems via iPad.
