A defence engineering company is seeking a Missile Test Architect for a 6-month contract in Westhoughton. This role involves defining project test strategies and managing test equipment requirements, aimed at ensuring compliance and effectiveness throughout missile production. Candidates should hold a degree in electrical/electronic engineering with skills in digital and analogue electronics. Due to project sensitivity, UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level is mandatory. Pay up to £60 p/h on an umbrella basis.

Our defence client is looking for a Test Equipment Engineer who wants to use their knowledge in a system / sub system management role. The role includes determining the project test equipment needs, managing the requirements for test equipment and managing the development through delivery and into service. In this role, you will be responsible for the projects test equipment and reporting into the Chief Design Engineer.
The department is responsible for the test architecture of missiles, specifying and analysing the missile built in test, specifying the production testing requirements and managing the specification and delivery of the missile test equipment.
Ability to influence stakeholders across the company.
Please note, due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved, all candidates must be capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level. You will require a live SC before you can start.
