A leading defence engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced Missile Mechanical Architect in Stevenage. The role involves managing missile mechanical architecture requirements, leading technical activities, and ensuring compliance with missile design specifications. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in mechanical engineering and ten years of experience, along with expertise in static/dynamic analysis and thermal management. Our client is a long-standing partner of the UK Ministry of Defence. They are currently searching for a highly experienced Missile Mechanical Architect to spearhead the gathering and managing missile mechanical architecture requirements. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that missile performance is achieved efficiently within the allocated time and cost while strictly adhering to layout requirements.
The selected individual will expertly handle the verification evidence for missile performance, ensuring successful certification and robust defence of the design. This role entails supervising the mechanical architecture requirements and other associated responsibilities of the missile.
