Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is looking for a permanent MIG Welder to join a world leader in Waste Handling Equipment in Royal Leamington Spa. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG/MAG welding and fabrication in medium to heavy engineering. The offer includes a PAYE hourly rate of £17.61 plus overtime, a 4-day working week, and excellent benefits including a pension scheme and health care coverage.

Qualifications

• Experienced in MIG/MAG process with some fabrication experience.
• Medium to heavy engineering welding for thicknesses of 2mm to 10mm.
• Passed BS EN 287 testing is an added advantage.

• Perform MIG/MAG welding tasks.
• Build and tack weld structures.
• Work from engineering drawings.
• Utilize lifting equipment as needed.

An opportunity for an MIG Welder to join a world leader in Waste Handling Equipment. Our client has delivered a wide range of high profile projects for local authorities and national/international contractors and has been awarded another major contract. They are looking to add a MIG Welder on a permanent basis to their highly experienced team.

The client is a highly successful international business with several manufacturing and service facilities in the UK and abroad, with roots going back to the 1800s. They have an impressive list of accreditations/approvals, ranging from ISO 9001 to Investors in People, and are market leaders in innovation, safety and aftermarket service.

Duties

• MIG / MAG welding.
• Build / tack welding.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Use of lifting equipment.

Qualifications / Orders to Speak to MIG Welders

• Experienced in MIG/MAG process with some fabrication experience.
• Medium to heavy engineering – 2mm to 10mm thicknesses.
• Production based welding.
• Passed BS EN 287 testing – added advantage.
