MIG/TIG Welder

Leicester £15.00/hour Day Shift Permanent Full-Time

Are you a skilled MIG/TIG Welder looking for a long-term role with consistent hours and proper engineering work? Want to work a 4-day week and still take home a strong hourly rate? This could be your next job.

We're recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join a respected engineering and fabrication company in Leicester, producing high-spec welded components for sectors including construction, rail, power, and agriculture.

What's on Offer:

• Hourly Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 17:15 (4-day week)
• Location: Leicester (commutable from Hinckley, Wigston, Lutterworth, Blaby, Coalville)
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Overtime: Available and paid at an enhanced rate

MIG/TIG Welder - Duties:

• Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on medium to heavy gauge steel
• Working from technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
• Assembling and welding structural parts and fabricated components
• Maintaining weld quality and appearance to meet production standards
• Assisting with general fabrication tasks as needed
• Producing parts for batch runs (small to medium volume work)

The Ideal MIG/TIG Welder Will Have:

• Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
• Confidence working with fabrication drawings
• Background in structural steel or heavy fabrication (preferred)
• Good attention to detail and a pride in producing clean, consistent welds
• A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
