Midday Supervisor (SEN Support)
Location: School in Newham

We are seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our supportive team in Newham. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience for all students, with a particular focus on supporting children with special educational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during the lunch break, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Provide support and encouragement to pupils with special needs.
  • Assist with social interaction, play activities, and positive behaviour.
  • Help students with eating, mobility, or personal care, where required.
  • Work closely with staff to promote wellbeing and inclusion.
Ideal Candidate
  • Be patient, kind, and approachable.
  • Have experience working with children, ideally with SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • Be committed to supporting pupils' social and emotional development.
  • Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team.

Contract Type: Part-time, Term-time only (lunchtimes)
