Norlington School and 6th Form is a small 11-16 boys’ school with a mixed 6th form. The school has been recognised by the Minister for State Schools on three occasions for student achievement and was judged a ‘good school’ by Ofsted in November 2023.

Role purpose

Norlington School requires an experienced midday supervisor to work in a busy, friendly educational environment, supporting our students, in particular our most vulnerable learners. The role involves providing a friendly and courteous service with the welfare and safety of students during lunchtimes as paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Support lunchtime activities to raise social achievements and create a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Help ensure lunchtimes are enjoyable and safe so students are prepared to learn in the afternoon.
Safeguarding and eligibility

Norlington School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Hours and application process

Your hours are 8.75 per week, from 1:00pm to 2:45pm each day, Monday to Friday – term-time only (45.6 weeks per year).
