Role description

They have an exciting opportunity for a Mid Weight POS Structural Designer to join the team at their Cambridgeshire site. This role is suitable for a motivated individual looking to develop their skillset around cardboard design and progress their career forward in an established, global business, with a structured development path laid out.

As Mid Weight POS Structural Designer, you will provide support to the Account Management, Commercial and Production teams to drive sales and growth, through the delivery of an outstanding level of service which focuses on competitiveness, communication, accuracy, reliability and dependability. You will also maintain a consistently high standard of quality in your work to support the growth and development of the function and wider business. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, using ArtiosCAD to design bespoke POS products for customers and provide accurate specification drawings, samples, prototypes and assembly guides.

This will involve frequent interaction with Creative and Artwork teams so that customers receive a first-class product, and the company can continue to build excellent relationships. You will also work closely with the Structural Team Leaders to ensure you are properly supported to perform at your best.

About you / Qualifications

• Experience in POS (Point of Sales) design; packaging experience will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and work well with Account Managers and other teams in the business.
• Knowledge of the POS (Point of Sales) industry, or an interest in developing your knowledge.
• Experience using ArtiosCAD or similar software.
• Knowledge of Illustrator (desirable).
