Job summary

A prestigious interior design studio in Greater London is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to contribute to high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in major design software including Vectorworks. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a creative team. Flexibility to travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to incredible Interior Design projects of varying sizes and styles. You will take part in all stages of our projects from concept to completion. The role requires the candidate to work alongside Suzy Hoodless.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Showcasing strong organisational skills and close attention to detail
  • Creating concept boards
  • Developing furniture layouts, elevations, hard finishes, bathroom, kitchen and joinery drawings, FF&E, sourcing art, antiques and decorative items
  • Producing Hard Finish schedules
  • Visiting suppliers, specifying, scheduling and working with artisan manufacturers on bespoke joinery/furniture
  • Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and suppliers. Attending meetings, recording meeting notes, taking site measurements and photos.
  • Producing client quotes
  • Procurement
  • Overseeing deliveries, installation and styling
  • Refreshing materials library and researching new products
What We’re Looking For – The Qualifications

We are looking to bring on a team player with 3+ years’ experience who can support projects while remaining calm under pressure. You’ll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, show versatility, be innovative and have a meticulous approach. We are looking for a designer who can hit the ground running but ideally wishes to find a long‑term position in our studio and grow along with us.

  • BA Interior Design | Interior Architect | Architecture
  • 3 year’s experience
  • Experience within the high‑end residential interior design sector preferred
  • A strong technical drawing foundation with high proficiency in Vectorworks, InDesign, Photoshop. SketchUp is advantageous
  • Proven experience in FF&E sourcing
  • Experience of procurement and Studio Designer or Estimac software advantageous
  • Proficient on Mac
Employment terms:
  • Permanent, full‑time position
  • Working from home
  • Working hours: 8:30 – 17:30 or 9:00 – 18:00
  • Additional hours required when necessary to meet deadlines. You may occasionally be required to travel within London and the UK, as well as abroad which can involve long days as well as overnight stays.
  • Competitive annual salary, dependent on experience
  • Holidays: 20 days per year plus national holidays, a birthday holiday and generous additional holiday during office closure at Christmas and New Year
