Due to the recent addition this year and bringing in a number or new client facing executives, this has created a new opportunity for someone to come in to take over an existing book of clients and work for a very established team based in their Birmingham operation.

Please note that following the company’s relaxed stance on home working, they could consider someone to have a mixture of working remotely and also coming into the office on occasions, so the location where you live doesn’t necessarily need to be very close to the West Midlands.

You would be dealing with a diverse range of commercial insurance trades sectors, with a variety of premium spends where some are in excess of 100k plus.

Although this role is not titled Senior Broker, you would need to be vastly experienced within the broking sector and hit the ground running. It would also be a requirement and essential that you are technically strong, have the ability to negotiate, and being able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. There would also be the opportunity to progress your career if desired into a more Senior role.

You would be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, having regular contact with the account executives, negotiating broking strategies, and obtaining the best possible terms from the marketplace. There will also be external visits as and when required, so that you can build a solid and long-lasting relationship with clients you are responsible for.

With this opportunity you would receive an attractive basic salary (dependant on experience) between £30k to £45k, plus excellent staff benefits.
