MFL Teacher (French & German) - Secondary School - Kettering

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Salary: 155- 225 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher, specialising in French and German, to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kettering. This exciting position also includes supporting with general classroom cover across the school when required.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality lessons in French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations
• Inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
• Provide general classroom cover across various subjects when needed, supporting whole-school operations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A specialism in French and German
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language teaching
• Excellent communication and classroom management skillsFlexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting the wider school
