MFL Teacher - Long Term Cover (Sept-Dec 2025)
Location: Carlisle
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Contract: Until December 2025

Veritas Education is recruiting an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a successful secondary school and provide long-term cover until the end of December. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate languages specialist to inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining strong classroom management, and contributing to the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for KS3 and KS4 in MFL (French and/or Spanish; other languages desirable).
• Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour for learning.
• Contribute to the wider school community as required.
• Work four days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience teaching MFL.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish; other languages desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills and professional approach.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to attend a registration interview and undergo safeguarding checks.
