About the Role

As a Senior MET Technician, you’ll play a critical role in diagnosing, removing, and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a wide range of vehicles. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will help ensure repairs are completed to the highest industry standards.

You’ll also serve as a go-to member of the workshop team, providing support and guidance to junior colleagues, and helping maintain a safe, efficient, and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all MET-related work including strip and refit, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Accurately assess and report vehicle damage in line with repair methods
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and support efficient repair
• Maintain high-quality standards in all work, ensuring vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition
• Collaborate with Bodyshop, Paint, and Customer Service teams for smooth workflow
• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Comply with all health, safety, and compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an MET Technician (Senior level or ready to step up)
• ATA accreditation (preferred) or willingness to obtain with our support
• Sound knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electrics, and diagnostic systems
• Ability to interpret repair methods and technical information accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence
