The Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Electrical Engineer with a strong background in construction and a solid understanding of the design-to-build process. This is a contract-based, site-focused role where you will play a key part in translating design intent into detailed, buildable solutions—including the production of manufacturing and as-built drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the mechanical design and installation process from early-stage coordination through to commissioning

  • Carry out site inspections and ensure technical compliance and quality standards
  • Resolve on-site mechanical design queries and clashes in real time
  • Ensure all mechanical installations meet relevant building regulations and project specifications

  • Proficient in producing detailed technical drawings (2D/3D) and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems within the built environment
  • Experience working on-site and coordinating with trades and contractors
  • Familiarity with design standards, mechanical codes, and UK building regulations
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or BIM tools is a strong advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable
  • Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services
  • Experience in both commercial and high-end residential projects
  • Ability to take a design from concept through to fabrication and install
  • Language proficiency in Turkish is desirable but not a must
