A mental health support organization in Haywards Heath is seeking Recovery Workers to join their team. In this role, you will provide quality support to individuals with mental health needs, managing risks and promoting social inclusion. We are looking for Recovery Workers who will make up a growing team within Mid Sussex and the surrounding areas.
Excellent support from experienced management and the wider clinical leadership team and a chance to get involved in this exciting service from the ground up.
Your role will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans. You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.
You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile. You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative.
It would be desirable for you to have had experience supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based service.
