Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Location: Caernarfonshire Contract: Temporary (2 months) Start Date: ASAP

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their mental health services on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mental health, with forensic mental health experience being highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions using both standardised and non-standardised approaches
  • Support patients to improve functional skills and promote independence
  • Supervise and support junior staff within the team
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred care
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working within mental health services (forensic mental health experience desirable)
  • Experience using standardised and non-standardised OT assessments and interventions
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
