The Pharmacy Department is a forward-thinking and progressive team dedicated to delivering a patient-focused, modern hospital pharmacy service.

We are expanding our team and seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician with strong initiative and a commitment to high standards.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisational and dispensary skills, and the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines.

We offer an active technician training programme and a proven record of supporting professional development.

Your contribution will play a key role in the continued growth and enhancement of our patient-centred pharmacy services.

Main duties of the job
  • Dispensing for inpatients, outpatients and our peripheral units.
  • Medicines Management on the wards.
  • Final accuracy checking on prescriptions if required.
  • Responsibility of a designated area e.g. controlled drug area.
  • Counselling patients on their medication.

You will need:

To be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council or a Pre-Registration Student eligible for registration this year.
