A leading healthcare provider in Yeovil is seeking a Medical Secretary for its Paediatric Orthopaedics department. The ideal candidate will support consultants, manage patient appointments, and provide high-quality secretarial assistance. Responsibilities include audio-typing, maintaining patient records, and coordinating consultations. We’re looking for a Medical Secretary to join our dedicated team at The Portland Hospital. In this role, you’ll support two consultants working alongside the Practice Manager.
As a Medical Secretary you’ll be responsible for ensuring the continued provision of the highest quality of secretarial and administrative support. Duties will include providing full secretarial support to consultants, being responsible for the appropriate management of patient appointments, liaising with patients and hospital staff as required in order to facilitate this. You will also undertake any other duties as called upon to carry out by the Practice Manager.
