Job summary

A healthcare organization in City of London seeks a motivated administrator to provide essential administrative support across two sites. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a medical secretary or administrator, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage tasks under pressure. Knowledge of mental health terminology is advantageous. This role offers a competitive salary of £33,094 to £36,195 annually.

Qualifications

  • Two years' medical secretary or administrator experience.
  • Experience of working in the NHS.
  • Experience of working with people suffering from mental ill health.

Job description

Are you an effective communicator, dynamic, motivated? Are you reliable, have a proven track record of organisational skill, able to show and use initiative. This may well be the job for you!

You will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and should be flexible and adaptable whilst having the ability to prioritise work and use your initiative in order to make sound judgements. You will be responsible for developing administration systems for the service and providing day to day administrative support to the service, within the context of a 'paper light' office. The post requires the ability to liaise effectively with a broad range of professions and service users and to maintain client confidentiality.

The successful candidate will be expected to work at two sites, Mile End Hospital and John Howard Centre.
