About the Role

As a Medical Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our travel customers who are needing to declare their pre‑existing medical conditions in line with the terms and conditions of their travel insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical risk assessments using an automated system to evaluate the level of medical cover we can provide.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments and findings.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Ensure that our company values are upheld.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High level of competency in using computers (prerequisite).
• Customer service experience – helpful but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to record data accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with our customers.
• Natural empathy and a flair for making a difference to our travel customers.
• Visa eligibility: If you have less than 18 months remaining on your visa, you may still be considered if you provide either clear evidence of family ties that would allow you to extend your visa, or clear and current evidence that you qualify for a visa extension under UK immigration laws and can provide supporting documentation.
