A healthcare provider in West Bromwich is seeking a part-time medical receptionist to join their team. The successful candidate will assist patients, provide administrative support, and ensure a positive experience for visitors. Ideal applicants will have GCSEs in English and Maths, and experience in a face-to-face public role. We are looking for a part time medical receptionist to join our team to work at Linkway Medical Practice in the Lyng Centre for Health and Social Care.
Candidate must be able to prioritise workload, work under pressure, be flexible, work as a team member, have good verbal and listening skills
The receptionist will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Provide generally assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
To provide administrative support and services to all members of the practice team.
Hours to vary Tuesday to Friday 7.45 am until 6.45 pm and the successful candidate must be able to work until 8 pm every Monday
Linkway Medical Practice is a GP surgery based within in Lyng Health Centre, West Bromwich.
5 GP partners and 6 salaried GPs
We are a training practice with GP Registrars and Medical Students.

Qualifications:
Essential GCSEstandard English and Maths
Desirable NVQ/AMSPARMedical Receptionist training course
