A respected and long-established law firm in Devon is seeking a skilled Solicitor with experience in medical negligence. This position involves undertaking a caseload of medical negligence files, including misdiagnosis, delayed treatment, surgical errors, negligent care and fatal claims, inquests, cosmetic surgery claims and complaints against healthcare providers. You will manage files independently from start to finish, handling all aspects of litigation and pre‑litigation depending on the stage of each matter. The department works largely with paper files, supported by a legal secretary and trainee solicitor, and offers hybrid or remote working with scanning of documents.
The ideal candidate is a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with solid experience in clinical negligence law, looking for a flexible arrangement (part‑time or full‑time) with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
