Over 90% of car buyers start their buying journey online. When a customer visits a dealership, they know what they want and how much they want it for. It's our job to make sure our products are advertised online efficiently, accurately and to a high standard.

We’re looking for a Media Operator to join Chorley Group's Marketing Team to make sure our products are standing out from the online competition. Experience in online marketing, social media and video production/editing would be a big bonus. The role will be based across Preston and Burnley, with a competitive salary of up to £27,000 with bonuses.

Your Will Be Responsible For
  • Photographing and filming all stock that arrives on site to a high standard.
  • Writing engaging and descriptive adverts for all vehicles.
  • Working with the Group’s marketing team to create engaging visual content for social media and our website.
  • Assisting the marketing team film and edit visual content.
  • Creating high quality video content to compliment the vehicles images and descriptions.
  • Keeping up to date with what stock is available on site and what status vehicles are in.

With over 30+ years experience in the automotive industry and as a franchise dealer for some of the biggest brands on the market – this is a fantastic opportunity for anybody with an interest in vehicles and/or marketing. Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, however full training will be given to the right candidate.

As a Minimum, The Candidate Must Have
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards for visual and written content.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • A self‑motivated and organised attitude – capable of managing workflows efficiently.
  • Inquisitive personality and be keen to learn about products and best practices.
  • Good understanding of online shopping, retailing and social media.
  • Be able to learn and adapt to new technologies easily.
  • Some experience in online retailing and/or photography, content creation is desirable but not essential.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
