Mechatronics Engineer

A market-leading manufacturer of advanced testing and measurement instrumentation is looking to recruit a Mechatronics Engineer to support an ambitious new product development programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team and play a hands‑on role in designing and delivering innovative test systems.

The Role
  • Design, prototype, and test mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems for test instrumentation
  • Support the integration of robotic systems into automated test equipment
  • Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with the engineering team to transfer new products into production
  • Identify and implement design improvements to reduce cost and improve performance
The Person
  • HNC or higher in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Industrial experience in mechanical hardware and system design
  • Competent using 2D and 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
  • Experience with mechatronic or robotic systems highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of electronics, firmware, software, or scientific instrumentation beneficial
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK
