Qualifications

  • Provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of the plant.
  • Ensure plant installations and modifications meet standards.

Job description
What will I be doing as aMaintenance Technician?
  • We’ll look to you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of plant,making sure plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
  • At the same time, you’ll be a valued member of the team, supporting colleagues across different functions.
  • Our junior staff will look to you for guidance and supervision, as will contractors.
What are the requirements?

To join us in this key position, you’ll have a predominantly Mechanical background with basic Electrical knowledge, ideally with an Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).

You'll have worked / be working in a Maintenance Engineer / Technician role in manufacturing / production engineering environments, having gained hands on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics with any basic electrical fault finding experience highly beneficial.

  • Ideally qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3.
  • The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
  • IOSH is highly desirable, but not essential and can be gained
