Job summary

A specialist recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in Chester to oversee mechanical and plumbing maintenance in a large estate. Position: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 PA. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, days.
Location: Chester
We are recruiting for a Working Supervisor / Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and assist in the mechanical and plumbing maintenance within a large scale estate in the Chester area. The role Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, standard days. On call TBC.

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Duties

• Supervising and completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
• Plumbing and water systems
• Pipework
• Mechanical plant room
• AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Compliance, TMV’s and tap temps
• Client liaison
• Monitoring of sub-contractors on site and ensuring H&S documentation and permits are correct
• Supervision of in-house staff

Requirements

• A qualified Mechanical Building Services Engineer or Qualified Plumber
• Commercial facility and commercial plant experience
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Ideally with some general supervisory or lead engineering experience
• Able to log paperwork and documentation
• Willing to work hands-on
