A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a prominent steel manufacturing site in Sheffield. In this hands-on role, you will handle mechanical breakdowns, support various operations, and execute both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a large, heavy industrial site offering long-term stability, strong earning potential and a structured shift pattern.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 12-hour days and nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Working as part of the site engineering function, you'll support the mechanical maintenance requirements of a busy steel manufacturing operation. This is a hands‑on role with exposure to a wide range of plant and equipment.
