• Experience in a factory environment, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Ability to perform hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding.
• Educational qualifications in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on machinery.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting for breakdowns.
• Engage in mechanical fault finding and testing.

Overview

Mechanical Fitter – Caerphilly

Salary: £38,500 + Overtime (£45K OTE) + Pension + Staff Discounts + Days Only + Early Finish Friday + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of processing machinery and ancillary equipment
• Repairs and responding to breakdowns
• Mechanical fault finding and testing
• Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm Friday 7am - 12:30pm

Experience / Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance engineer/fitter from a factory environment (backgrounds from Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction or similar)
• Time served apprenticeship (HNC/ONC or similar)
• Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding ability
