Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer – Darlington

We’re looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities & Building Services team. In this role, you’ll carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a wide range of building systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

What You\'ll Do

• Perform routine inspections, diagnose potential issues, and complete necessary repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials required, and track progress to completion.
• Support energy management initiatives by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect new and existing installations for compliance with safety regulations and building codes, reporting any concerns.
• Follow established procedures and processes, while contributing to the overall reliability of site operations.

What You\'ll Bring

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school qualification (or equivalent experience).
• 12 years of relevant technical or facilities maintenance experience.
• Physical capability to meet role requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and extended periods of walking/standing.
