Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Role
  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and both preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and associated equipment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment across the site.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and collaborate with production teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
  • Use mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance systems to complete tasks accurately.
  • Assist with ongoing engineering projects and contribute to continuous improvement activity.
We're Looking For
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
  • Recognised mechanical qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Confident mechanical fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently when required.
  • A proactive, safety-focused approach to maintenance and problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues across engineering and production.
