Job summary

Bilfinger UK recherche un Technicien Mécanique sur site pour un projet en environnement nucléaire près de Reading. Le candidat idéal doit avoir un diplôme de niveau 3 (City and Guilds ou NVQ), au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire et la capacité d'obtenir la certification SC. En tant que membre de l'équipe, vous soutiendrez la gestion de projet et assurerez la conformité des conceptions aux spécifications du client, tout en entretenant d'excellentes relations avec clients et fournisseurs.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme minimum requis : City and Guilds ou NVQ Niveau 3.
  • CSCS nécessaire.
  • 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire.
  • Capacité à obtenir la certification SC nécessaire.

Responsibilities

  • Assister à la vérification et à la population des équipements installés pour les Registres d'Actifs et les manuels O&M.
  • Vérifications sur site de la conception pour garantir le respect des spécifications du client.
  • Travailler aux côtés des ingénieurs de conception pour s'assurer que les conceptions sont appropriées.
  • Examiner les dessins produits par les sous-traitants par rapport aux exigences du projet.
  • Élever et gérer les requêtes techniques jusqu'à leur résolution.
  • Développer et maintenir de bonnes relations de travail avec les clients et les fournisseurs.

Bilfinger UK require an onsite Mechanical Technician to assist in the delivery of an ongoing M&E package in a nuclear environment near Reading. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with experience within a highly regulated industry.


Key Aims & Objectives

Support Project Management to ensure outsourced Mechanical design meets requirement.
Ensure Mechanical project scope is satisfied efficiently and effectively.
Strict adherence to customer’s specification and standards.
Review Issued design and process documents.

Role & Responsibilities

Assist with the verification and population of the installed equipment for Asset Registers, O&M manuals.
Site verifications of design to ensure adherence to customer’s specification and standards.
Work alongside design engineers to ensure designs are fit for purpose and identify design solutions
Peer review of sub-contractor produced drawings and documentation against project specification requirements.
Raise and manage Technical Queries through to completion.
Help develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients and suppliers, including the identification, assessment, and integration of new Electrical sub-contractors.
Witnessing factory acceptance tests and projects sign off.
Supporting the scheduling and tasking information to the Lead Engineers and Project Management to support project delivery
On-site support to the Construction Team
Participation in on site Environment, Safety and Health culture (ESH card)

Skills and experience

Minimum Qualification
City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3
CSCS
3+ Yrs. experience in a similar role
Must be able to obtain SC Clearance
