Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Estates Services team for one of our key clients. This role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days on site per week.
Deliver mechanical building services engineering and manage maintenance contracts.
Support the University\'s Carbon Management Strategy through low and zero carbon projects, renewable technologies, and decolonisation programmes.
Work on major new build projects, refurbishments, long-term maintenance, and smaller capital works.
Collaborate with the Sustainability Team, Built Estate, Space Management, and Administrative teams.
Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across the University.
Contribute to the delivery of net zero by 2040.
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
Strong background in building services engineering, estates, or facilities management.
Experience in delivering and managing maintenance contracts.
Knowledge of low carbon/renewable technologies (desirable).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
